We serve our clients diligently while guiding, educating and supporting them throughout the legal process.

Anna Fernandez, Esq. is a Miami-based attorney and the founder of Legal Lotus, P.A. This law firm specializes in Family Law and Civil Litigation, maintaining a core focus on honesty, fairness, and the best interests of clients.

Fernandez completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Florida International University in 2007. She further developed her passion for law at St. Thomas University School of Law, where she was actively involved in several competitions.

Before starting her own firm, Fernandez worked alongside her father, Luis Fernandez, in his firm, leading the Civil and Family divisions. This experience provided her with crucial courtroom exposure and insights into complex legal areas. She continues to work as of counsel for her father’s firm, marking frequent joint TV appearances.

Recognizing her dedication and expertise, Super Lawyers awarded Fernandez with the Rising Star distinction, a noteworthy accolade given to only the top 2.5% of attorneys.

Beyond her legal practice, Fernandez serves on the City of Miami’s Equal Opportunity Advisory Board (EOAB), reviewing employment policies and advising on the city’s affirmative action program.

She also co-founded a non-profit organization, Business Educational Assistance for Tomorrow, Inc. (BEAT). BEAT strives to develop the potential of adolescents, adults, and the elderly through education, particularly focusing on housing, socio-economic issues, and personal finance.

Fernandez is a proud advocate for animal rights and is a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Her memberships include the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL), the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA), and the Miami-Dade County Bar Association.

Fernandez is also the host of Ante Usted, a Spanish language Q&A format show that airs on WLRN, PBS every Sunday at 3:30pm. The show strives to inform the South Florida community on a broad range of topics, especially local and state laws, criminal justice, consumer protection, immigration, and other judiciary-related issues. Over the years, Ante Usted has hosted a variety of professionals, offering them a platform to share their knowledge and perspectives on current and trending topics within their fields.
