A Case Management Conference (CMC), sometimes referred to as a Status Hearing, is a hearing where the judge, the attorneys, and the parties meet to discuss the pending issues in the case. Summary Procedure and Computation of Time

Unlike general legal actions, summary procedure provides certain plaintiffs to an action an expedited consideration of disputes. The timeframe for responding to an action is 5 days after service, as opposed to the standard 20 days for general actions.
